Jonathan listened intently at his boss' story. He didn't rightly believe anything about a human/bear hybrid as it was physically impossible. He's a veterinarian; the young man would know these things very, very well. In course of action, he just shrugged Demeter's story off his shoulders before walking toward the very back of the circus. Leaning against a pole, he pulled out a cigarette and a lighter. Not thinking much about his health, he lit the cigarette after placing it in his mouth and blowing out smoke. The secondary ring leader just sighed in relief before noticing movement from his peripheral vision. One of Demeter's dolls was wondering around like it was lost. The animal caretaker just huffed before walking over to deal with it. He only stopped when he noticed claw marks going up the back of it. His eyes narrowed as he grabbed the doll before taking it back to his tent. Of course, he managed to have it 'shut' off before he took it back.

"These do not look like bear claws no matter the stories Meter had heard," grumbled Jonathan as he took a look at them. "It's some wild animal that shouldn't be in the woods." Grabbing his scarf that he had just for walking trips, the young man just started off into the woods to see if he could take a glimpse of this animal. If anything, it could be useful to the circus as a new circus animal. He just continued his walk as his eyes were peeled for anything that he hadn't seen before in his walks; Jonathan was looking for anything unusual. "I see nothing out of the ordinary," he grumbled once again. "Those claws had to come from something." His boot stepped on a stick as it made a cracking sound. The sound, itself, echoed throughout the woods in such a loud manner that Jonathan had no doubt that all the animals had heard it. "Goodie."

A roar rang through the forest as the birds flew from the tops of the trees. The veterinarian just lit a cigarette as he waited for the animal that the roar belonged too. It didn't sound like any roar of a big cat or that of any other animal with the capability to roar. He was interesting in seeing what kind of animal would show its face around him. Some of the weaker trees were knocked sideways as a giant form appeared before Jonathan. He just stared at it, unblinkingly, as he tried to make anything of the animal that had appeared. "Well, you are definitely a bear."

Red eyes just stared at him as the bear roared in great distress. A human was trespassing on his territory; the monster would not stand for such ignorance. Jonathan just put a cigarette out on a tree as he heard another roar. "Ah, didn't like that, did you?" he asked, still putting it out. "The cigarette isn't going to harm this tree. It's too big and thick to catch fire from such a small flame." The dark brown fur just bristled as he continued to put out the cigarette. The red eyes just seemed to grow angrier as the seconds ticked by. "How about this?" Jonathan suddenly asked. "I'll never step foot in your woods again if you leave the dolls alone that pass through her. They are not humans; they are dolls made by the ringleader of the circus." The bear just tilted its head as if trying to process the deal that Jonathan was making. He couldn't believe that it understood him. Though, he knew those marks weren't bear claw marks, so how could it have been a bear?

The bear just growled in agreement before walking off into the woods once again. It was then that Jonathan noticed its claws. They were claws alright, but they were human shaped claws. The hands were also quite human shaped. He just shook his head before walking back to the circus grounds. Yeah, he sometimes wondered if drugs were placed in his cigarettes just for kicks from the other members of the circus. As he made it to the big tent, Demeter pounced from the tent and tackled him. "Oof, Demeter," he said with a stern, yet emotionless voice. "Jonny," she purred. "What were you doing in the woods?" "Oh you know, dealing with your do …" He was cut off as another circus member came toward them. She began explaining that she had encountered a strange bear within the woods as well, and it was not to kill or harm anymore dolls. He just looked at her in slightly confusion; there had to be more than one then. Of course, Jonathan didn't speak up about it as he was just glad Demeter wouldn't worry about her dolls anymore. It was such a bother to have to help worry about them.

"You were saying?" asked Demeter after she turned her attention toward him once again. "Nothing, Demeter," he answered. "Glad to have your dolls safe once again."
